A very old chapel

The Sint-Amanduskapel is a small chapel tied to one of Ghent's oldest Christian sites; the first version is thought to date back to around the 12th century, with plenty of rebuilding along the way. It's named for Amandus, the missionary who is credited with bringing Christianity to this region. Quiet, modest, and easy to walk past. The nosy traveller stops anyway.
