The smallest house in Ghent

Blink and you'll miss the Tolhuisje, the little toll house said to be the smallest in Ghent. It's a 17th-century survivor standing barely wider than its own front door, a leftover from when taxes on goods had to be collected somewhere. Somewhere turned out to be here. It's the kind of building that looks like it lost an argument with the street and just stayed anyway. Very Ghent. Very nosy.
