The bridge built for a view

Sint-Michielsbrug was built between 1905 and 1909, and it's less a bridge than a viewing platform with traffic on it. Look one way: the Graslei and Korenlei quays. Look the other: three towers lined up like they're posing. Architect Louis Cloquet knew exactly what he was doing. Locals will tell you this is the classic Ghent photo. They're right. Take it before the tram photo-bombs you.
