The baroque church by the abbey
Onze-Lieve-Vrouw Sint-Pieterskerk, once simply known as Sint-Pieterskerk, is a Baroque church beside Saint Peter's Abbey on the left bank. Its confident lines and rich interior show a different mood from the severe Gothic of the centre — this was faith with a flourish. It's easy to miss if you're heading straight to the museums, which is exactly why it's worth the detour.
